Frequently Asked Questions

Buying from us

Are the cameras tested?

Wherever possible, yes. Each item is individually inspected and we test the functions we can. The product description states what has been tested and notes anything that has not. Items sold “for parts or repair” are described as such.

How is condition graded?

We use a clear six-point scale — Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, and For Parts or Repair. See our Condition Grading Guide for full definitions. Known faults are always disclosed.

Are batteries included?

Unless the description specifically says so, batteries are not included. Many vintage cameras use batteries that are still available; if you are unsure which type an item needs, just ask.

Do products come with accessories?

Only the accessories listed in the description and shown in the photographs are included (for example a case, cap, strap or charger). If an accessory is not mentioned or pictured, please assume it is not included — or contact us to confirm.

Can I ask for additional photographs?

Absolutely. For any item, especially collectable or higher-value pieces, we are happy to provide extra photographs or details. Just get in touch.

What happens if an item is sold out?

Because most of our stock is one-of-a-kind, an item marked as sold has usually gone. However, we often have similar pieces — contact us and we will let you know if something comparable is available or expected.

Delivery & returns

How quickly are orders dispatched?

We aim to dispatch orders promptly, typically within a few working days of payment clearing. You will receive confirmation when your item is on its way.

How are valuable items packaged?

Every item is packed carefully and protectively. Fragile, collectable and higher-value pieces receive extra padding and secure boxing to ensure they arrive safely.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship across the UK and to many international destinations. If you do not see your country at checkout, contact us for a shipping quote.

Can I return an item?

Yes. Under UK distance-selling rules you may cancel within 14 days of delivery and return the item for a refund, provided it is returned in the condition supplied. If anything arrives not as described, please contact us straight away and we will put it right.
